Mustang Meet and Greet

Just passing through...
Not so fast, Grey Boy.
Stomp.
Chomp.
Grey Boy bucked at the Paint, then went on his way.
He says "Take that!"
A songbird of the prairie, the pretty Horned Lark.
Grey Boy and his faithful friend leaving the scene.
A younger version of the legendary "Beast." Most likely related.
One last look.

    1. Hey Diana, could you make room for a Paint like that??
You know, their roundup is this summer. Want me to keep my eye on him?
And yes, a whole new group of horses to name!!! :)

  2. looks like grey boy wanted to hop-skip-jump into the middle of it all....!!

beautiful photos, red dirt....i am so happy for you that you visit horses to keep your heart afloat.

me, i wave at the miniature donkeys when i drive by and say to my heart -- "someday...."
and there are two horses at the end of the road that keep begging me for apples.

    1. For sure, my heart would sink without frequent visits to the horse range.
I would not be able to stay in Wyoming if it weren't for the horses.
Like a friend has told me, " It is my calling....my destiny." I trust her word.
Please give those horses some apples! :)

    1. I suppose it is like Arizona. There's a lot of openness there, scraggly terrain, like here.
I always dream of Arizona. Of the Jade & Emerald colors...the cactus..the golden dirt. I love that state very much!
      Thanks for stopping by, Dagmar.

    1. I'm so glad ! The pictures aren't great. The wind kept me from holding my mono-pod steady! So frustrating.
But, I will not forget the playful boys on the prairie that day.
      Thanks, Sagey.
