A halcyon day

 

Though I did not see a kingfisher there was no storm 

and just the slightest breeze for Ravens to pirouette  

 Then, just on the other side of the mountain

everything looked very different.

We discovered that  my red headed friend 

Ruby

is a band stallion now.

  2. Now that's winter wonderland. Look at those healthy horses.
    Congratulations to Ruby! I'm glad he has his own family now. Oh how I hope these wild ones are safe on their home range. That country is made for wild horses. Thank you for sharing the beauty of it all.

  3. I'm curious.....do you explore up in those hills? They look pretty darn interesting.

    And I love how you've captured the beauty of winter on the prairie and the beauty of the wild horses. Spectacular photography!!
