a picture is truly worth a thousand words! i'm so glad that i grew up playing in the grasses, trees and lakes! i got stung by bees running barefoot in dandelioned fields and picked (stole) gooseberries off neighbor's bushes and relished every innocent moment of my childhood in nature. to this day, i am the same person. loving god's beautiful and bountiful world in color, texture and sounds and soul! thanks for this post, my love! we need to be reminded.
Indeed. Little pitchers don't just have big ears... they have big eyes, too. Children like to mimic our behavior, so we doggone well better be sure we're setting the example we want them to follow.
