Till The Summer Comes Again

“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”

― Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

    1. Hey Sagey girl, I DID enjoy the winter wonderland that morning!
We by-passed the dog sled races and went straight up into the trees!!
We had a major meltdown yesterday, so I'm thinking spring is peeking her little daffodil head in! Heehee!

  9. yes! love the quote and the blue and white! there is something so breathtaking about the frost-kissed trees-- it is as if time stops for a moment to allow one to behold such beauty. also something supremely wonderful about being above the landscape and looking down upon it-- birdlike, i suppose.

  12. I love your winter! We, on the other hand, have had no such thing. We usually get FEET of snow here at 5200' and yet it has been in the mid 70's. Is that insane?
Your photos are pure beauty, like you my friend.
I met a woman from Casper who bought a pair of earrings from me at a craft fair; I told her there was similar pair walking around Casper. She'd know them by the wild and wonderful golden-locked woman they adorned.
