“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Simply beautiful, especially those aspen.
ReplyDeleteAspen are my most favorite tree, Diana! Mmm...pure white bark. ;)
Deleteheel mooi maar volgens mij moet je voor de zomer nog wel even wachten.
ReplyDeleteik zal geduldig zijn, maar de zomer haast omhoog!
DeleteBeautiful...love blue and white regardless of the season xx
ReplyDeleteMe too. I'm a blue sky, blue sea, bluebird kind of gal! xo
Deleteloving your frosty scenes….
ReplyDeleteand loving you.
O
Lovin' you back in scenes of snow and ice and wind and smiles.
Deletethe perfect quote to accompany your gorgeous photos ♥
ReplyDeleteI know, Deb, that quote is just so innocent, sweet and real.
DeleteBeautiful winter!
ReplyDeleteI agree. There's more beauty than I give credit, sometimes, Lily.
DeleteBreathtaking winter pictures...so so beautiful. And yes, I believe the snow loves the trees and fields very much :)
ReplyDeleteThe snow loves this prairie. It won't let go! Ha!
DeleteHey sweetie, glad to see you're enjoying winter's beauty, knowing spring is just around the corner! Amazing photos full of that awesome winter magic and frosty trees!
ReplyDeletexoxo
Hey Sagey girl, I DID enjoy the winter wonderland that morning!
DeleteWe by-passed the dog sled races and went straight up into the trees!!
We had a major meltdown yesterday, so I'm thinking spring is peeking her little daffodil head in! Heehee!
yes! love the quote and the blue and white! there is something so breathtaking about the frost-kissed trees-- it is as if time stops for a moment to allow one to behold such beauty. also something supremely wonderful about being above the landscape and looking down upon it-- birdlike, i suppose.
ReplyDeleteI thought so too. I was up pretty high and those frosty trees were begging to be photographed!
DeleteNice pictures, seldom get snow where I live and that is okay with me.
ReplyDeleteHere is what it looks like here.
I see that you visit Sandra's sites some, cool lady, I plan on going to visit them in June.
and it will come.....
ReplyDeletelet share a hot chocolate out in the snow by a fire shall we???
I will bring the homemade Kahlua...
love and light
I love your winter! We, on the other hand, have had no such thing. We usually get FEET of snow here at 5200' and yet it has been in the mid 70's. Is that insane?
ReplyDeleteYour photos are pure beauty, like you my friend.
I met a woman from Casper who bought a pair of earrings from me at a craft fair; I told her there was similar pair walking around Casper. She'd know them by the wild and wonderful golden-locked woman they adorned.
xoxo
These photos are all absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeletethese photos are stunning!
ReplyDeletei live in bali, so practically it's summer here everyday. i kinda miss some snow sometimes :)
