It's special alright, Bernard. For YEARS now, I've wanted to live in Taos. We had our eye on this lone adobe in town. We'd bicycle ride by it all the time when we first moved here, 14 yrs ago. Then one day, there it was. A 'For Sale' sign! That was 8 yrs ago. A feeling of Taos in my own backyard! Only thing missing is a front porch, salmon smoking & you.
incredibly beautiful, Lynn!! so obvious that love lives within. and those flowers-- gah! i always feel a greater sense of peace and gratitude when I focus my lens on my own home and acknowledge its bounty. looks like you felt that same way. xoxo
Your house and garden are so beautiful, my friend! Your found the perfect desert house on the prairie. Which kitty is warming herself in the chiminea? Love all these shots. Thanks for sharing a bit of your beautiful world.
Nice words, Diana. Appreciate that. I thought you'd like my Santa Fe style house on the cowboy prairie! It's just perfect for us. We both have a soft spot in our hearts for the Southwest. Taos mainly. That day, Skye took over the chiminea!
Oh, you know it does, B! And most of the time, there is a breeze. Sometimes a gust! But, the Russian sage and cats mint and lavender and everything else he's planted, blends together and is carried through the open windows! Sweet sweet earthiness. ;)
