Four Baby Swallows

 Way up high, in a Colorado mountain village, I've been riding my bicycle around, exploring this place, my home away from home. Riding along the dirt roads, scouting out deer, moose and bear, looking up and pedaling at the same time, four ravens above ! Helloooooo Ravens!!  I end up back in the village, and ride past the library. Wait! I see these funny birds, diving and swooping around, then ducking under the awning of the library. The swallows have made a miraculous clay nest! And four wide mouthed babes! They actually formed their nest atop one of the spot lights! A perfect little clay nest, with perfect little swallows, hungry and healthy. Nature has done it again. Brought me to tears.

      Oh i know, their mouths are sooo wide, huh? How' s Tara? Any sign of that girl? I hope you're having a sailing good time these days! I'd love to be on some water right now. :-) i'm mellllltiing!

      Are you at the concert tonight?? :-) i want to go to the swap next week....if indeed it IS next week! Ha! I'm not completely sure how it works. Do i just bring all my crap and if no one wants it...do i have to take it all back home? It will be so nice to hang with you, if nothing else.
