I fixed my blog site! It was all cattywompus but I put it back together again. All by myself.
The sun has been shining, hardly a swirling cloud getting in the way. Oh, that sun. My friend!
Warmer weather has dried the red dirt road I take out toward Cherry Mountain. I cannot tell you how many Meadowlarks I've seen. They're singing their hearts out on every fence post along the way! Hawks and crows show me where to go, up to the tree line. Everything is turning to countless shades of green as flowers show off the palette of colors they've chosen this year.
It's summer on the prairie, folks. And I've got a million reasons to be happy.
It's the simple things. Things that are free. Listen to the birds and the songs they sing.
They know.
Good morning sunshine! You're looking beautiful and happy!
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you, we bought the exact same St. Francis behind you
in Santa Fe. :)
That doesn't surprise me one bit, prairie sis.
DeleteNow we've got matching Frankie statues and table runners!
The little bowl he's holding, I stash all my owl pellets in there. Perfect! xo
loving your sunshiny smile!! our wind finally stopped howling through here after five days at up to 75 MPH and now we look at four days of 80+ degrees!! yay. yesterday the scent of something sweet wafted through the property, even the horse pens! it smelled like lilacs, but there aren't any (yet). i too it as a good sign!
ReplyDeletexoxo
Oh wow, I wonder where the lilac scent originated from!? That must have been a pleasant surprise, lilacs mixed in with horsey smells. Nothing better than that!!
DeleteFunny to hear you talk about that crazy wind speed. So, it happens to you too, huh? That is a powerful wind speed, it's ridiculous really.
I hope you enjoy the heat wave coming on! Haha.
"took"...
ReplyDeleteHaha I knew what you meant, silly.
DeleteYou do look and sound happy! Spring can do that to a person. ;) We had 75 degrees here yesterday and leaves popped out on some aspen and serviceberry. Went hiking in a state park where I knew I'd find early wildflowers: shooting star, yellow bells, prairie stars, which made me happy! Got your note and block print card - love it!
ReplyDeleteI saw that you went hiking! Do you live not far from Kalispell?? It's so pretty up there. I was happy to hear you saw leaves on the aspens. Cannot wait to see "mine" at Red Feather. ;) aspens are my favorite tree. x
Deletelovely, happy post :-)
ReplyDeleteI am not at all computer savy, and always impressed when I manage to figure anything out by myself too :-) so happy you got your blog back and running ♥
have a wonderful weekend.
I know what you mean. It was actually kind of fun and challenging to use my brain on figuring out a scenario to putting it back together. And now, if anything ever happens again, I won't panic. Cuz I'm a pro, now! Hehe.
DeleteAppreciate you stopping by, Deb!
heerlijk zulke mooie post geniet van het leven dat is heel belangrijk.
ReplyDeleteYay! Looking good! The sun is shining, the meadowlarks are singing, and the prairie unfolds into spring! I'm happy that you're happy!!
